On fathers day I got lovely warm comfy new sheepskin slippers and a fantastic book on Information Design - I feel a break through coming here. The boys love to play-fight with me on the bed.
On my way to deliver a banner to antLantis this morning I spotted these two monkeys at the traffic lights on Barry Hertzog (Greenside) . Q: What have Karma, (Indian cuisine), got to do with gorillas dressed in gowns with bright orange turbans? No seriously, tell me?
Public holiday, needed to do something about my study. As wrtiten in previous posts I need to get my home office into a pleasant state. The collage above was taken during the clean up, it consists of ten image which I loosely arranged together to make a whole to show what the room looked like. (and some quick photoshop adjustments)
Sunday - Ghana vs Serbia at Loftus. I was given a ticket by a (very good) friend and tootled of to see the game all by myself. What a blast what an experience. The crowds were behind Ghana (African team) all the way. It was quite interesting how well one can see the game and the players compared to on TV which gives you a close up but you miss the peripheral perspective of the game. Note to self: "go see more live sports events and take the kids when they are old enough to appreciate it"
Football World-cup 2010 kick off. The roads were the busiest I have ever seen. We decided to see the game between Mexico and South Africa at Mikes Kitchen, where the kids can run around and play on the trampoline, the jungle gym, the climbing wall...etc.
ProfitClub with ActionCoach is great. We share our wins and losses and help each other with ideas for our businesses. We even get homework...
Sunday evening - this is a section of my desk. Time to tidy up or what?
Northcliff mountain (hill) - The boys and I love come here and walk along the path and even scramble along the rocks. The view is always great. You can see the smog layer over the city in this photo. We really should try to take better care of our environment, our earth. Let's stop taking things for granted.
